1. Information We Collect
When you use our App, we may collect the following types of information:
Information You Provide:
- Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we use your Google Account to create and secure your user profile within the App.
- Profile Data: You may voluntarily provide a display name and personal goals within the App’s profile section.
- User-Generated Content: We collect the content you post on the Journey Board.
Information Collected Automatically:
- Usage Data: We collect information about your interactions with the App to improve your experience. This specifically includes the parts of the app you visit (the 10 most recent unique pages), the timestamp of your last visit, and the app version.
- Device & Technical Information: We collect device type, operating system, and crash reports (through Crashlytics).
- Advertising ID: Your device's unique advertising identifier may be collected by our third-party ad providers based on your consent choices to serve relevant advertisements.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Authenticate your account and provide secure access.
- Deliver, personalize, and track your learning progress.
- Display your profile name and photo on the Journey Board.
- Communicate important notices via Messaging.
- Serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements to support the free version of the App.
- Analyze usage and diagnostics to fix bugs.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. Your information may be shared with:
- Other Users: Your display name and profile picture are visible to others on the Journey Board.
- Third-Party Providers: Trusted providers who help us operate the app (Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads).
4. Your Rights as a Data Subject
In accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you are entitled to the following rights:
- Right to be Informed: You have the right to know how your data is collected and processed.
- Right to Access & Rectify: You can view and edit your display name and goals directly within the App’s profile section.
- Right to Object: You can opt-out of personalized ads through your device settings or the in-app consent manager.
- Right to Erasure (Blocking): You can request the permanent deletion of your account and associated data.
Manage Ad Consent: You can review or change your ad consent preferences at any time within the App’s Settings menu via the "Manage Ad Consent" button. You may also opt-out of personalized advertising through your device's system settings.
Data Deletion: You have the right to delete your profile and all associated data at any time. This can be done instantly within the App’s Settings menu via the "Delete My Profile" button. This action is permanent and wipes all your progress, certificates, and personal records from our servers.
